Close by to the iconic Trevi Fountain lies a labyrinth of underground passages that'll allow you to delve further into the fascinating history of Rome.
Buried nine meters beneath the busy streets of Rome's Trevi District, lies an ancient building complex with a fascinating history for you to discover. You'll see an example of a Roman Domus - a Roman house that was typically occupied by the upper classes during the Republican and Imperial eras of the empire. You will also see the Castellum Aquae (a Roman water distributor) of the Aqua Virgo, one of 11 aqueducts that supplied water to ancient Rome and still supplies water to the Trevi Fountain to this day.

You'll learn much about the city's history through marveling at these preserved structures. About this experience

Become a Roman gladiator for the day at Roma Park, just outside Rome. Set in five acres of woodland and Roman countryside, this fun theme park contains a traditional legionnaires’ camp, an open-air market, a tavern and a gladiatorial arena.
Watch ancient gladiators in combat before donning the traditional sandals, loincloth and helmet and having a go yourself. There’s also a chance to hone your archery skills on the shooting range.
You can shop for traditional wares among the stalls of the ancient market, marvel at soaring eagles, hawks and oils in the Birds of Prey Arena, and tuck into food fit for a gladiator in the Taberna restaurant.
