Explore Ghana's beauty. Experience major waterfalls in the Eastern part of Ghana including Asenema fall, Oboadaka fall, Adom fall and Boti falls (also known as the twin waterfalls).
Journey will begin from Accra as it is the pick up and drop off location to the listed destinations with departure time to be 7:00am.
After you have been located and picked up, the first destination to visit is the Oboadaka falls which has got a pool beneath the waterfall where you can easily and safely swim.
Followed by an experience at Adom waterfall. Adom Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall which runs on stratified rocks into a clear pool. The falls flows through an amazing forest.
Next stop for another experience will be the Asenema Waterfall. Asenema waterfall feeds a lively little stream nearby. The falls usually has a very good flow in the rainy season. The drive to get to the falls is wonderfully scenic, with beautiful views across the rolling hills that are so typical of the region.
Our final destination for exploration will be at Boti Waterfall. Boti is a seasonal falls is a double side-by-side falls during the high flow and at the bottom of 250 concrete steps. During full flow you are surrounded in a canyon of falling water. It can be found in the forest of Huhunya. The larger one is mythically believed to be the male and the smaller one the female. According to the local folks, when the two merge, a rainbow is formed. It is usually said that these rivers are mating when this happens.
A visit to Boti is actually a three-in-one pack: the umbrella rock, the three-headed palm tree and, of course, the falls themselves. It is the most visited falls in the Eastern Region.

Following collection from your Accra or Tema accommodation, your day begins with a Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm. Be transferred cross country in an air-conditioned 4x4, served with water and snacks and with a friendly, experienced, and helpful guide.
Once at the cocoa farm, learn how Tetteh Quarshie was a pre-independence Ghanaian agriculturalist who was directly responsible for the introduction of cocoa crops to Ghana. Cocoa crops today constitute one of the major export crops of the Ghanaian economy. In 1879, Tetteh Quarshie planted the seeds at Mampong with some success.
Following the Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm, depart to the Aburi Botanical Garden. From there, visit the Aburi Crafts Village. The crafts village is a decent size with many shops to check out, and contains plenty of local woodwork and artisans crafting as you shop. There are many types of arts/crafts there, including clothing, jewellery, key chains, bottle openers, baskets, and furniture. We start by going to the Kakum National Park, which is where endangered creatures can be found. The park contains a suspended canopy walkway that is 30 meters above the ground, as well as a variety of butterflies and birds.
Take a cross-country transfer in a shuttle with air conditioning. Drink water, eat snacks, and converse with your knowledgeable, amiable, and helpful guide to stay hydrated while traveling.
Visit the Portuguese-built Elmina Castle, which was constructed in 1482. The oldest existing European structure south of the Sahara, it was the first trading post constructed on the Gulf of Guinea.

Take a day trip to Ghana's Central Region, about 147km from Accra, an area known for its role in the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Accompanied by a local guide, learn about the slave castles built on the Gold Coast of West Africa by European traders.
The day begins early, with pickup from your accommodation in Accra. Travel in an air-conditioned 4x4 to the Cape Coast, enjoying some snacks on the way. The first stop of the day is the Cape Coast Castle, one of about 40 slave castles or large commercial forts built on the Gold Coast of West Africa by European traders.
Originally built as a Portuguese feitoria (trading post) in 1555, it was later used as part of the trans-Atlantic slave trade as a place slaves were held before being loaded onto ships bound for the Americas.
Next, visit Elmina Castle, erected by the Portuguese in 1482. The first trading post built on the Gulf of Guinea, Elmina Castle is the oldest European building in existence south of the Sahara.
The last stop on the tour is Fort St Jago, also known as Fort Coenraadsburg or Fort São Tiago da Mina, a small Portuguese chapel built in honor of Saint Jago. Situated opposite the Elmina Castle, it was used to protect the castle and is one of the oldest military constructions on the Gold Coast.
After exploring the Fort, return to Accra for hotel drop-off.
